BIOGRAPHY OF ALIFTED
Awards winning 13-year-old Pianist, singer, songwriter
and producer Lifted and award winning 11 year old saxophonist/songwriter
explodes onto the music scene with a pulsating contemporary 7 track gospel
albums
The two siblings
belong to the gospel band Alifted
where together they have been spreading
the good news through writing songs, singing and playing of the piano and
saxophone. Lifted who is the lead vocalist for the band has been playing the piano
and singing for over 4 years now, while
Alice has been playing the saxophone for 3 years on a daily basis. However,
Alifted was launched in 2015. When asked
what inspired them to form a gospel band, Lifted said: "We wanted to be
able to use our talents in a positive way and to spread the gospel and make a
change to our generation through music."
Alifted are currently
in the studio recording their second album titled PROPHETIC VITAMINS which is a going to
be a gospel album with 12 tracks. TRIPLE BLESSING was the first album from
Alifted which contains the following singles VINEYARD OF GRACE, MAAMI (my mum), SAX PRAISE(featuring
FunmiSax) , JAZZ PRAISE, GLORIOUS COOK
OF HEAVEN, WHAT A BLISS and TRIPLE
BLESSING (triple blessings features the entire
family of 5 on the album) The gospel album
is a combination of sax praise
and sax worship, comtemporary
gospel, acoustic piano worship, reggae
worship and afro beats. On this debut
album ALifted really had the chance to showcase their skill and potential by
self producing two of the tracks (Glorious Cook of Heaven and What a
Bliss) The rest of the songs were
produced by Seun Oke (Sax Praise, Sax Worship, Maami & Triple Blessing) and
Marcus Inner Productions (Vineyard of Grace)
Within 12 weeks
Alifted’s music video has been viewed over 450,000 times on facebook and has
over 7000 shares, over 9000 likes and over 500 positive comments. To view click

Lifted and Alice
are both active students at the local Barking and Dagenham Community Music
School. They are also
both active members of the dagenhamsongwriterschoir while 11 year old Alice is a member of the Junior Jazz band
and Junior Contraband where she plays her Sax.
The two siblings
were born into a family of musicians and have the full support of their
parents. Their mother Joke Joshua has been a gospel singer for 20 years
and their father Dele Joshua is an accomplished gospel saxophonist
and a talented songwriter. Their 8-year-old
brother (Faithful) is also following in their footsteps and
has recently released his own rap song titled Trinity

Through their
talents ALifted
have been instrumental in raising money for charity. During the last Red Nose
Day, they raised money for their favourite charity. They were further inspired
to raise more money for the less fortunate and launched another initiative on
the Just Giving crowdfunding platform to raise £500 for the Great Ormond Street
Hospital Children's Charity.
Lifted and Alice
are no ordinary children. The two are passionate about music and also helping
